Most event businesses already run on Google Calendar and Google Sheets, with leads coming in through Meta Ads. Lighter connects to what you’re already using rather than asking you to start over on day one sync with your calendar, move data in and out of Sheets and Excel, and pull leads straight from your ad forms. When your event closes, the accounts get settled with your accounting software of choice. (coming soon!)
Google Calendar
Each person connects their own Google account this is not one shared company calendar. Meetings, follow-up reminders and task due dates appear on the assignee’s own calendar, and changes made in Google flow back into Lighter.
Google Sheets
Connect the sheet, choose the tab and map your columns to Lighter’s fields. It syncs every fifteen minutes, which means a team can keep working in the spreadsheet while they get used to Lighter instead of having to switch on a Monday.
Meta Ads
Lead forms from Meta Ads arrive as lead records through a webhook, with the source recorded so the enquiry is in the pipeline with an owner before anyone opens Ads Manager.
Official WhatsApp Business API
RSVP requests and guest reminders go out through the Official WhatsApp Business API using your own business number and an approved message template, sent server-side.
Setup is your own WhatsApp Business API access a phone number ID, an access token and an approved template name, entered once in Settings. Messages go out from your own business number. Because this is the Official API, they are template messages rather than free-form chat. Available on the Enterprise plan.
Excel, in and out
Import leads, customers, vendors, venues and guests from a spreadsheet using your own column names. Export the same data to Excel whenever you want it elsewhere.
