Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Lighter, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your business.

2. Who this is for

Lighter is built for wedding and event businesses planners, decor and production houses, corporate event teams and is licensed for business use, not personal or consumer use.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for everyone on your team who has access under your account, and for the permissions you assign them.

4. Subscription plans and billing

Plans and pricing are listed on our Pricing page and may change with notice. Paid plans are billed annually in advance, plus applicable GST. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each annual term; we email you at least 7 days before renewal billing, and cancelling before the renewal date stops it.

5. Your data, and your responsibility for it

You retain ownership of the business, client and guest data you enter into Lighter. As set out in our Privacy Policy, you are the Data Fiduciary for any personal data about your clients and their guests that you enter into the system. You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to hold and process that data, including guest RSVP data sent via WhatsApp. Lighter processes this data solely to provide the service to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lighter to send unsolicited messages, to store data you don’t have a lawful right to hold, or to attempt to access other businesses’ data.

7. WhatsApp and third-party integrations

RSVP messaging is sent through the Official WhatsApp Business API under Meta’s own policies; Google Calendar and Sheets sync is subject to Google’s terms where you choose to enable it. We’re not responsible for the availability or policies of these third-party services.

8. Intellectual property

Lighter, its software and its branding belong to Florawise Solutions Private Limited. You’re granted a licence to use it for your business; you don’t acquire ownership of the software itself.

9. Termination

You can cancel at any time by writing to support@lighteros.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billed year, and the account stays fully active until then. Nothing is deleted when a subscription lapses, and you can export your data to Excel at any time. If you close your account, its data is deleted 90 days after closure.

10. Limitation of liability

Lighter is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Florawise Solutions Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vadodara, Gujarat.

12. Changes to these terms

We’ll notify you of material changes to these Terms with reasonable notice.
